Snus News and Moe Saves your Valentine's Day
So far, February has not proved to be a very exciting snus news month. There are some pretty big product announcements coming but not yet.
Uber-Director Patrick Vogel of V2 Tobacco indicated there will be some new snuses from V2 being released in the first half of the year but I don't think February is going to bring anything new.
Swedish Match released The LAB 03 in January. I, Moe Unz, will be happy if they don't release any new snuses until I can get the taste of LAB 03 out of my mouth. There may be many of you who will enjoy it but I am not one of them.
Skruf AB also released Knox Blue white portion snus in January although I have not decided whether or not the SnusCentral.com Snus Shop will carry it any time soon.
Knox is a cheap brand designed to compete in the "Value Brand" segment. From the flavor description, it appears to be the Knox version of Phantom Blue White; a juniper flavored Value snus from V2. Phantom Blue White disappeared from our catalog quite some time ago due to lack of interest; hence my hesitation over Knox Blue white portion.
Good news concerning the Thunder Frosted Christmas Edition! Previously, it was available only in the huge snus can containing 10 cans of Thunder Frosted Christmas. We are now offering it by the can at a great price!

Valentine's Day Snuser Solution
I love snus and chocolate. Chocolate is a traditional gift to say "I love you" on Valentine's Day in the US. However, you can't just give your loved one a Hershey bar; that gives the message "I bought this for you while filling up the car with petrol". Not terribly romantic.
The alternative is running to the mall for some Godiva chocolate which will cost you more than one or two rolls of snus...until now.
You may have noticed I have added a selection of Swedish chocolate and candy to our store's offerings. Unlike Godiva or the like, you can explain how you purchased this magical chocolate all the way from Sweden. It took much effort and time on your part, but that special someone deserves only the best!

While you are here candy shopping, you may as well toss in some Valentine's Day snus for yourself. After all, if the shipping charges are part of your gift, then the shipping costs for your snus will be already be covered or only minimally increased!

Featured Product: The Mortar Snus Syringe
Particularly for those of you who have had little experience with loose tobacco products before, learning to use loose snus can be somewhat messy.
The Prismaster has been the most inexpensive snus portioning tool to use but it is not something people use for long. At the other end of the spectrum are Icetools.
Icetools do work extremely well, are very durable, and available in many different colors. They are also very expensive, starting at 10X the price of a Prismaster. For someone just experimenting with loose snus, that is an awfully large investment.
Last year, I added the Mortar Snus Syringe to our Accessories catalog. At less than 6 USD it is very affordable. It is also incredibly similar to a 3 ml Icetool in function. Both use rubber grommets to prevent leakage when pressing out the prilla.
The only real differences I see are that the Mortar Snus Syringe is made of PVC plastic instead of the Icetool's aluminum or stainless steel and it does not have the measuring marks on the syringe like the Icetool.
For occasional loose snus users, the Mortar is a great solution which leaves you more money to buy loose snus. If you decide you enjoy using loose snus on a regular basis, you can upgrade to an Icetool to impress your friends and give you even greater durability.
Either way, the Mortar Snus Syringe is a great alternative when you're at the beach or engaged in other activities which could result in the loss of your portioning tool. Losing an Icetool is an expensive and depressing experience.
