GN Tobacco (GNT is) known for its Oden's, Siberia, Islay Whisky, Lenny's Cut, Anglaholm, Olde Ving, and Wow brands of tobacco Swedish Snus; especially the very high nicotine versions.
In 2019 GNT began adding all white, tobacco-free nicotine pouch products to their brand portfolio. White Fox was the first, HiT the second, and in 2022, the Siberia White EXTREMELY High Nicotine brand joined the GNT family.
The history of GNT is a short but colorful and mysterious one. According to the official company biography, GN Tobacco Sweden AB was founded in 2004 under the name SNUSAB AB. In 2007 a distribution agreement was signed with the US's third-largest cigarette company, Liggett Vector Group, which took Swedish snus in its portfolio, the Grand Prix and Tourney launched on the US market in 2008.
In 2009 the name was changed to GN Tobacco AB. I admit to being very confused after reading this. According to Unz family records, the birth of GNT happened a "little" differently. How GNT actually came into being is a mystery I will not be exploring; I, Moe Unz, am a Snus Lord and a Snus Shop Manager. Figuring this all out would cut into my drinking time too much.
GN Tobacco has been a good friend to both SnusCENTRAL.org and SnusCentral.com. Unlike many other snus manufacturers, neither I, Moe Unz, or my ancestors were involved with the formation of GN Tobacco. Their success is their own! Sadly, I can take no credit.
