Grov White portion snus is a robust snus with the well rounded with the taste of pure tobacco. As a white portion snus, the pouch is dry to the touch. The taste starts out slowly but white portions usually last longer than original portions.
Grov Snus is also available in regular portion and as a loose / lös snus. Whichever version you buy, you'll know it's fresh, priced right, and shipped incredibly fast at the legendary SnusCentral.com Snus Shop!
On my second can of Grov, and it's my new favorite
I have been really liking Ettan White Portions and I still do, but this stuff beats it out by just a little bit.
Grov is like Ettan's big brother. Just a bit more powerful (flavor) and just a bit different (personality). The salt is also a little less forward in Grov than it is in Ettan.
Where Ettan comes up to you, rubs your shoulder and says "hey, man, how ya doin", Grov slaps you on the shoulder and says "how about sippin' a whisky?" Both are good, but depending on your mood, one can be better than the other.
Ettan is great, with its smooth, chocolaty, pure, wholesome tobacco presence. Grov has those things too, but adds a touch of flavor strength and puts the smoke flavor ahead of the salt.
The two brands are much the same, yet very different. If tobacco-centered flavor is your thing, you'll have to try both to see what you think, but Grov wins just by a hair, in my opinion.
One of my favorite go to brands. The pure tobacco flavor is excellent and the coarse grind really makes this special and a must try for those who like to keep it simple. One thing I noticed about this one is that it has a kind of burn (from the coarse grind) that is kind of odd at first but not uncomfortable. Whats more is I found that I looked forward to the burn and missed it when my lip finally got used to it. The flavor is not as robust and pungent as Ettan but still pronounced and unique.
This snus has a very pronounced tobacco taste (not unpleasant) but not my favorite. This would be a good snus for those who like to savor the flavor of the tobacco itself. It kind of reminded me of Copenhagen dip. (Just not as intense)
