Grov

The Grov snus name was trademarked in 1872 although it was first marketed as Grovt in 1855.  This gap some attribute to the carelessness of Knut Unz, the local patent and trademark official.  Unz had a reputation for heavy drinking and it's believed he simply forgot to trademark Grovt in 1855.

Grov began as an original loose form snus. Grov Original Portion was launched in 1983, and was followed twenty years later by Grov White Portion. High nicotine Grov Strong Portion was launched in 2013.
