Products that are approaching or have passed their expiration date are available for cheaper rates. The date is shown on the can and product pages, but this does not mean that snus and pouches are unusable – there are ways to maximize your experience.
The critical thing with nicotine pouches and snus is to ensure that the moisture content isn’t compromised by where you keep your products. Drying out is a fundamental reason why pouches and snus will not taste the same as those that are optimally packaged. Our warehouse has coolers, so you should replicate those conditions with your own products.
This is why a refrigerator is the best place to keep your products, although a cool, dark cupboard is a suitable alternative.
Note: Products do not simply need to be thrown away once their expiration date has passed. They will not harm your health, but you may not enjoy them as much.
If you keep your items in a refrigerator, they should last as follows:
The reason for this is that there is more moisture in loose snus and original portion snus than in other products on this page.
You can freeze nicotine pouches and snus, but it is extremely important that you keep them in a vacuum pack or an airtight bag so that no moisture can get to your products. They also need to be properly defrosted before usage, so keep loose snus in a refrigerator after taking it out of the freezer, while other products can thaw at room temperature. If you do this, another 12 months can be added to your snus and nicotine pouches’ shelf life.
