Taboca brings the finest hand-selected tobaccos together with modern Swedish snus-making principles. Taboca A/S also makes Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta snus. Although the latter are still banned in the United States due to outdated Cold War policies and politics, the Taboca brand is not.

With the exception of containing 5% Cuban tobacco as a flavoring, Montecristo snus and Taboca snus are remarkably similiar. This snus is certainly worth a try.

I love this snus. It's very classy. Nice neat portions, not crammed into the sharp looking metal tins. This snus has a lot of character. It's quite salty, very citusy and bitter. Fig is present, as stated in Taboca's description. The tobacco is strong and you can tell it is 5% cuban! This snus holds it's flavor for as long as You want it to. Nic hit is also a plus. One con for me is, it does tend to run a bit too much for my preference, but it is so good I don't mind. The price is also very reasonable for such a great snus. This is sort of a "love it or hate it" snus, but you owe it to yourself to give a try.

Taboca compares nicely to more expensive snus. Full tobacco flavor, moderate bergamot, with just a hint of bitter flavor, which works very well. Essentially a well balanced, "straight" flavor. Nice comfortable portions, slightly on the dry side, low drip, long lasting flavor, good nicotine delivery. Great metal can but no ashtray. A good everyday snus that could sell for full price, but doesn't. Worth a try.
