Perhaps I received a bad batch, but this stuff is horrible. It smells and tastes like dog crap. I kept it in for a few minutes, but had to spit it out due to the terrible taste. Perhaps I did not leave it in long enough for the true flavors to develop. I am a new swedish snus user, and ordered about a dozen cans about a week ago, and this is the only one I couldn't even palate. I would highly recommend another brand/flavor (not that all Phantom is bad, I have tried the Phantom Blue White Portions and very much enjoyed them).

This an odd snus. It is halfway between a white and original. It is flavored with tobacco and "smoke." It seems like it is bigger than any regular portion I've tried. Be that as it may, it's not bad at all. When I tasted the actual portion, I was very disappointed because it seemed like it had an instant-coffee quality. As the portion progressed, there was very little drip and my mouth tasted a mild tobacco. I ordered this out of financial necessity, but I will probably order it again.

Strangely good. I open the tin and give it the look-smell test. Portions look moderately moist. Smell is odd. Tobacco smell is very earthy. Reminds me of natural flavored dip or Grov. There is also a vague sweet smell present. Once the portion is in, taste resembles smell. Very good tobacco taste. Just tobacco, water and salt. Weird sweet taste is present. As porton wets, Great tobacco taste overrides sweet taste, run is not noticeable and I'm impressed by this snus. There is a sort of stigma about this snus, I think. Give it a try if you're looking for a nice, low-priced snus. It may take some time to get used to, but You may end up loving it.
