I like this snus a lot. I was able to taste a mild flavor of licorice but not overbearing. Then a bit of salt began. After that there seems to be a lot of pepper. So much so that it started burning my gums and cheek. I have been using General Ekstra Sterk for the past two years so I doubt it was the nicotine. But, it sure does taste good and has a flavor that I cannot compare it two once it juices up. Initially it is sort of like a very mild Onyx to me but once it gets going it is unique, in a good way. I'm still on my first can so maybe an edit later but for now it gets a five. Oh yeah, the pouches give you what you paid for, nice and full, unlike N&J original. This one is definitely in my rotation.

I really like this snus. I've always been a huge fan of N&J White. It's original portioned brother is pretty decent also. Ever since I heard about Black Tarmac, I've been anxiously awaiting the day when I could buy some. With snus, many of the licorice flavored products can be amazing despite hating the way black licorice tastes. That is very much the case of N&J Black Tarmac. There are many different flavors wrapped into one here that it kind of melds into its own taste. If you are like me, the word licorice used to be a put off, but I would say that this will be a favorite of everyone in the snus community, regardless of how they feel about licorice flavor.
