I like this snus a lot, just be prepared for quite a circus of flavor. It tastes little like Grov loose or portion. It reminds me a lot of Skoal Vanilla blend dip, although you don't get that acidic artificial vanilla flavor like you do with the Skoal. Flavor starts out very strong and then evens out to a nice smooth aftertaste about 15-20 minutes later. It's basically like what Swedish Match did with the General Onyx. It's Grovnus with magnified flavor in a portion. Overall, I think this is a very good snus, just not something that one could use 10 times a day. If you're looking for a more refined version of Grov, this isn't it. This hardly tastes like Grov to me. I think in the end Grov is in the same boat as Ettan, it't meant to be enjoyed best in loose form.

Grovsnus Svart (Black) was one of my favorites early on. The flavor does have a vanilla element to it, with a hint of anise. The more dominant flavor is more "leather" than anything else. This might sound odd, but it is actually a nice combination, with a slightly sweet but rustic quality to it. Very nice to enjoy wine with. It is a unique flavor that not everyone will be into, but it is definitely worth a shot if you like more complicated (yet not overbearing) flavors. Nicotine as advertised, moderate tobacco, slightly wetter than average white (black) portion, long lasting flavor. Nice as a change up or after dinner snus in particular.

Most people think this stuff is flavored with vanilla but I only taste DILL PICKLES when I use it. It's OK but it definitely doesn't match up favorably with Claq Qui or Nick and Johnny Strong for my greenbacks.

A great straight up tobacco tasting snus with little salt and a good nic hit. Not too strong a good choice for those looking to venture into the strong snus category. I highly recommend it with the morning coffee!

One of my favorite strong profiles of snus. It has everything that is excellent about Grov with a bigger hit (12mg) and the added flavor of vanilla and what I can only describe as leather. I know that sounds odd but I assure you its very good. There is nothing better as a first snus of the day with a cup of dark roast coffee. The black pouches and coarse grind add to the unique and complex character of this snus.
